Best value fun-filled weekend for the whole family at Wildsfees 2020
There’s a three-day party for the whole family at the 2020 SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees.
Hosted for the 19th time in the scenic Sundays River Valley, this year’s Wildsfees runs from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28 2020.
The Wildsfees offers one of the biggest selections of things to do and entertainment of any festival in the country.
After browsing through over 350 specialist stalls and taking their senses on a taste and smell safari at the numerous food stalls, festinos will party under the clear Karoo sky with a galaxy of South Africa’s top artists, see the daredevil Monster free-style motocross team flying in front of the giant main stage and experience much more.
The main stage will have 24 artists performing on Friday, 21 artists on Saturday and 15 artists on Sunday. In addition, there will also be entertainment in the Leefstyl Plein, Coco-Cola zone, the all new Bos Bistro stage and on the Flavourfontein Beach Bar stage, according to festival director Jennifer Honsbein.
All the entertainment on the various stages is included in the entrance fee.
The festival is also home to three of the Eastern Cape’s biggest expos – the new vehicle expo, agri expo and outdoor expo.
Adult tickets will be R180 per day, with the adult weekend pass R400 for all three days.
For children aged seven to 17 ticket prices, the ticket price is R70 per day or R150 for a weekend pass.
Children under seven are free.
Other highlights of the festival include the country’s oldest Koedoedrolvérspoeg competition.
Reigning champion Shaun van Rensburg is due to be back to defend his title.
Another festival favourite is the boerboel show in the Vodacom pavilion.
Tickets are available from: Mafuta Padstal in Kirkwood, Westway Tickets in Port Elizabeth, and BZN Stationers in Uitenhage.
