The annual SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees will be bringing thousands of people into the scenic Sundays River Valley for the 18th time this June.
In addition to hours of non-stop live music from the biggest stage in the Eastern Cape, festival goers can look forward to seeing their favourite events.
They include a Boerboels show, the koedoedrolverspoeg competition, a “masquerade ball” danced by magnificent Friesian horses, Addo Elephant National Park Ranger Corps and K9 unit expos, a skaapkop langtafel banquet and more.
Dog lovers will be able to meet and greet prize Boerboels from as young as eight weeks to full grown specimens.
Adventurous or traditional foodies can relax and enjoy laid-back music as they indulge in either a skaapkop (R150 per person) or skaapstertjies (R80 per person) on Sunday at the kykNET Leefstyl Plein.
Tickets can be bought from the SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees office.
Yearly, festival goers make their way to the Vodacom Pavilion to watch the koedoedrolverspoeg competition. Entry is free.
This year’s celebrity guest competitor will be Wicus van Der Merwe.
The hotly contested competition will be held on Saturday, June 29.
All these shows, as well as all the entertainment on the Adventure Province Main Stage are included in the ticket price.
